Food
Welcome to the kennels
We offer dried food, but if your dog has special dietary requirements, or you wish to keep them on their own diet, we will discuss this with you and suitable arrangements can be made.
Please do not bring treats if your dog is not used to a particular brand as this may upset their stomach. Please bring the measuring cup,scoop etc you use for your dogs food. This keeps consistency with feeding and no risk of over feeding or underfeeding, due to differences in measurements.
Hygiene
All kennels are tiled to promote good hygiene practice.
Kennels are cleaned and disinfected each morning and additionally as and when required during the day. We allow your dog to bring his/her own bed as it has familiar smells but if they are not used to sleeping on a bed, they will possible tear this apart so just bring a small rug with smells from home. (no duvets please).
Exercise
Each kennel has a large separate, secure run. We offer three play areas where your dog can enjoy playtime and a good run/walk about with a member of staff. We do not walk dogs off the premises, but have ample acreage to walk the dogs and keep them safe and secure. This is how we befriend your much loved pet and gain their trust.
DOGS ARE NOT PLACED TOGETHER AT ANY TIME, UNLESS THEY ARE FROM THE ONE HOME AND LIVE TOGETHER WITHOUT DISAGREEING.
HEATING
During the winter months we provide full central heating in all facilities.
Items that should help your dog settle :
- Bring along your dog’s vaccination card. This will provide us with your dog’s proof of vaccination.
- Toys – 1 or two with their smell.
- Small Rug
- If your dog sleeps on a bed, please bring that along nicely laundered as it has familiar smells.
- Treats with your dogs favourite brand so they don’t have any tummy upsets.
- PLEASE DO NOT BRING FEEDING BOWLS AS WE SUPPLY BOWLS.
- NO TENNIS BALLS AS THEY BLOCK OUR DRAINS IF THEY ROLL OUT OF THE KENNEL.
- NO BONES, such as chicken, pork or beef.

Reassurance: Our aim is to make your dog’s stay as stress free as possible and provide a ‘Home from Home’ experience.
When booking your dog’s stay, we prefer to talk to individual customers, to discuss your pets requirements in full. IF YOU WISH TO HAVE YOUR DOG GROOMED FOR HOME, PLEASE BOOK THIS WHEN MAKING A KENNEL BOOKING.
WE WILL ADMINISTER MEDICATION YOUR DOG REQUIRES IF THEY ARE CALM ENOUGH TO HAVE IT ADMINISTERED BY US AND ARENT FOR A LIFE THREATING CONDITION.
